Love the huge portions!

Review By: Molly Ambler -

This little corner restaurant can fit maybe 10-15 diners at a time, but the variety of Latin American cuisines on the menu at El Rinconcito Café is impressive. The pupusas came out first. They’re round, flat dough disks which in my case had cheese, beans and rice tucked inside. They were warm, soft, and deliciously silky.

My main course came on a platter, which is always great since this typically means that you’re getting your money’s worth. The beef was moist, tender, nicely spiced and was not overly dry. The cheese that came with my dish was akin to a Mexican queso, so it was crumbly, salty, mild, and tasted great when dipped into the beans.

The only thing I would have done differently is ordered only one pupusa since they are deceptively filling. It made finishing my meal quite an effort!
